In My Mailbox – April 1, 2012

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by The Story Siren. It is an opportunity to share any books I have received this week in my mailbox, on my nook or in my hands.

This week was an EPIC week for me readers…EPIC! Early this week I got an email about a used book sale in the town over from me. I managed to fit it into my schedule this week for not once, but TWICE! And when I went yesterday it was $5 for an entire bag of books. I came home from that trip with 30 books alone. For $5. That’s right. Meaning I spent like 17 cents per book. That’s the definition of awesome…just ask Mr. Webster.

But first, I got this book for an upcoming blog tour. I’m looking forward to reading it.

Now, for my first trip to the used book sale. I got 17 books for $7.50 which breaks down to 44 cents a book.

And here is the ultimate book deal ya’ll…bag day. The tall stack is what my mom purchased ($5) and the three other stacks I managed to fit into one VERY large odd shaped bag for $5. So, in total $10 for ALL OF THESE BOOKS!

Up close of my three stacks to show off what I bought:

I spent 12.50 and came home with 47 books. And many of these were books I have seen my blogger BFFs, online book clubbers, or others reading and raving about. I’m pretty stoked with my success! So the basic conclusion is that I’m going to need another bookshelf probably sooner than I expected. But really…is that a bad thing?
